Junior Consultant (m/w)

We offer you the opportunity of joining us as a junior consultant. A complex and wide ranging array of activities awaits you, most of which will be completed in small teams. The work is almost exclusively based on projects and the majority of your time will be spent on location with the customer.

Typical tasks for junior consultants are: Research, data analysis, supporting the implementation of project workshops, preparing proposals and presentations.

Requirements

· General:
University diploma with good results, alternatively Bachelors or Masters Degree with excellence, first experience in fashion retailing e.g. through apprenticeships or internships

· Personal:
Teamwork skills, the ability to think logically, organizational talent, a professional and confident manner, above average commitment, well groomed appearance, fluent German, excellent knowledge of business English, a second foreign language would be desirable

· Professional:
Excellent skills (especially Excel, VBA, Access), experience with presentations, basic knowledge of the fashion industry (e.g. market participants, key point indicators)

Senior Consultant (m/w)

We are looking for experienced consultants who enjoy working with retail and life-style products. Lead our teams on location with our customers. Secure the h+p promise of contents and quality. Inspire your team and our customers.

Typical tasks for senior consultants are: Project management, project structuring, leading the internal and external project teams, quality assurance regarding the consulting activities, customer management.

· General:
University diploma with good results, alternatively Bachelors or Masters Degree with excellence, established consulting experience

· Personal:
Teamwork skills, the ability to think logically, organizational talent, a professional and confident manner, above average commitment, well groomed appearance, fluent German, excellent knowledge of business English, a second foreign language would be desirable

· Professional:
Excellent IT skills (especially Excel, VBA, Access), well established moderator and presentation skills, knowledge of the lifestyle and/or retailing sectors (e.g. market participants, key point indicators)

Basically hachmeister + partner offers you a direct entry. The career level will be individually defined and is based on your qualifications (graduate B.Sc. / M.Sc., MBA, doctorate or professional experience).

Your application

Please send us an informative covering letter explaining your motivation to work for us. Additionally we need your curriculum vitae as well as relevant certificates and reports.

The selection process is divided into the following two steps:

Step 1: You will be invited to our office in Düsseldorf for an interview with one of our partners. In addition you have to write a case study which allows us to evaluate your analytical skills.

Step 2: After a successful first phase of application, a second interview with two further partners is conducted. Main focus here is a possible matching with the future line manager as well as an allocation to one of our business fields.

Step by step to success

There are six career steps at hachmeister + partner.

Be it as a graduate, (young) professional, manager or partner – you can join us at any level. Trainee positions with a focus on controlling/data analysis are awarded in our Benchmarking Unit.

The professional experience you have acquired so far and your skills are decisive criteria for us. We support you in your career steps with targeted further training measures, regular exchange on the key project learnings across the various consultant teams and plenty of experiences gained "on the job".

Feedback is a key tool for hachmeister + partner. Through the feedback and pointers from the partner you report to, you will find it easier to assess your performance and progress.
